What does PowerClick do?

Two things. It adds a submenu to Finder's right-click menu for file templates, Copy Path, Batch Rename, Copy To and Move To, and Open in Editor. It also adds ShortClick, a radial menu you open anywhere in macOS to launch apps, paste snippets, run automations and snap windows.

What is ShortClick and how do I open it?

PowerClick's radial menu. Open it with your own keyboard shortcut, or hold Command and Shift and right-click anywhere. You can also hold the trigger, flick the cursor toward an item and release to pick it in one motion.

Can it snap windows like Rectangle or Magnet?

Yes. Enable Window snapping and the ring gains twelve actions: four halves, four quarters, maximize, center, next display, and restore. It uses the public Accessibility API, so you grant Accessibility access once in System Settings.

Which permissions does it ask for?

The Finder extension needs enabling in System Settings. Three optional features need one permission each: Input Monitoring for the mouse trigger, Accessibility for window snapping, Automation for auto-paste and Shortcuts. All three are off by default. Read the details.

Does PowerClick support Light mode?

Yes, since 2.2. Settings then Appearance offers Light, Dark or Auto, Liquid Glass Clear or Tinted, and nine theme colours. It changes PowerClick only, never your system appearance.
